SPIRITUAL BLESSINGS
Scripture Reading - Ephesians 1:3,4
3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ:
4 According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love: KJV
These verses were placed in the Holy Bible to remind us of what we have and who’s we are. Notice verse 3 states that God has already blessed us with all, yes all, all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ. The great news about this verse is it includes the spiritual blessings for our inner man and it includes all natural blessings also. We must remember that all things are upheld by the Word of God’s Power according to Hebrews 1:3. We also know that God Almighty spoke the world into existence by His all-powerful spiritual Word. The Spoken Word of God created order and beauty on this earth in Genesis chapter one to give us an example of what the spiritual blessings of God can do. Likewise, we must create an orderly and beautiful world around us by speaking forth the spiritual blessings of God’s Will. Since it is a fact that all the natural things on this earth are derived from and sustained by the realm of the spirit. The spiritual blessing of God’s grace has enabled us to overcome all obstacles through God’s Love. Therefore, when our spiritual life in Christ is functioning properly the natural things of this earth will also conform to the image of God’s design. Nothing happens by accident but all good things can happen to those who are holy and without fault (blameless) in Christ Jesus. Now also notice in verse 4 that He (Our Heavenly Father and Our Lord Jesus Christ) chose us. We sometimes think that salvation is our choice but that is not totally true. He reveals His Love to us then we make the decision to accept Jesus Christ into our heart. We must always remember it is surely the goodness of God that leads us into repentance. So know that you are Privileged, Special, and a Favored Child of God that has all His blessings, both spiritual and physical, in Christ Jesus. Our Heavenly Father God personally chose you so that He could give them both to you because He loves you so much. Amen!
